Sole Sista’s, founded in 2007 in Cedar Hill, TX, had a humble beginning at Walmart. Recognizing the opportunity to make a positive impact, we committed to purchasing a new pair of shoes for $10.00 every week for an entire year. This simple idea led to collecting over 100 pairs of new shoes.
Our inaugural event at Building the Kingdom Community Church for a back-to-school blessing was a tremendous success. With the 100 pairs of shoes we had gathered, we were able to provide much-needed support to the children.
At Sole Sista’s, we are dedicated to maintaining a 'Spirit of Excellence' in all that we do. Over the years, we have organized and facilitated more than 100 events, delivering shoes, clothing, food, backpacks, and other essentials to those in need.
To God Be The Glory for ALL things!!!
Tanya's Miracle
On a brisk October 17th, 2011, a seemingly normal day turned into a life-altering moment in our own driveway. As we were setting out for a meal, an overwhelming sensation of breathlessness took over me, leading me to bring the car to a halt. It was then that Pam noticed my trembling hand and promptly rushed to my aid, dialing 911. The events that followed were nothing short of a miracle. Upon reaching Arlington Medical Center, the test results unveiled the extent of the ordeal I had faced - an aortic aneurysm causing a catastrophic stroke and heart attack, necessitating immediate open-heart and bypass surgery.
The doctors marveled at my survival, remarking that I shouldn't have made it through the ambulance journey. However, I did, and it was nothing short of divine intervention, from my Lord Jesus Christ!
Post-surgery, I was placed in a medically induced coma for 30 days to facilitate my recovery. When I awoke, another 30 days were spent in the ICU. Despite the grim prognosis delivered by nine doctors, who believed I would never walk or talk again, my Lord said otherwise.
My arduous journey continued at a nursing home, with Pam's diligent guidance, I painstakingly relearned how to walk. In addition to this, a month of dialysis due to kidney failure ensued, only for my kidneys to ultimately awaken. Four months after this life-altering event, I finally returned home, to be a TEST-A-Mony of God’s Mercy and Grace, His miracle!
All I can say is, "But God."
